Respect@Work: how it's changing our approach to sexual harassment

In this 19-minute podcast, I speak to employment and diversity lawyer Erica Edmands about the key recommendations and discussion points arising from the recent Respect@Work report into the impact and handling of sexual harassment in Australian workplaces.

We discuss why the issue hasn’t gone away and why workplaces are rethinking their stance and prevention strategies regarding sexual harassment. Erica describes some of the barriers to reporting, explains the Federal Government’s adopted recommendations and what this means in practical terms for employers, and highlights the importance of an holistic, systemic approach in preventing sexual harassment.
